Parts
elevators supply parts, at various heights, to packaging, assembling,
and processing systems. The parts elevator consists of 2 main components:
the belt elevator and the bulk parts feeder machine. The bulk parts
feeder consists of a bulk storage hopper and a horizontal vibrating
flat pan feeder. Through use of the vibratory flat pan feeder,
parts are gently fed from the bulk storage hopper to a cleated belt
at an adjustable feed rate.

These
feeders are recommended for use in applications involving the elevating,
feeding and orienting of heavy parts such as bearing races, nuts,
screws, and cylindrical parts. The heavy gauge steel welded frame
is capable of withstanding continuous operation. The inside hopper
can be lined with PVC, sheet rubber, or nylon to protect the parts
being handled and to reduce the noise level. The parts orientation
is accomplished by specially designed cleats and/or the discharge
chute mounted within the parts return chute.
